Two Men Detained with Marijuana and Psychotropic Drugs Found

Officers from the Department for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Police's Criminal Justice Directorate, acting upon operational information in collaboration with their colleagues from the Shengavit Police Division, detained two men aged 31 and 45 on Ararat Street in Yerevan.

During the personal search of the older man, 8 psychotropic pills were discovered. In the framework of the initiated criminal case, police searched the residence of the 31-year-old man based on a court decision, where they found substances resembling marijuana and psychotropic pills. He has been arrested, while the 45-year-old man was released on signature.

Examinations have been appointed. Operational investigative measures are ongoing. A preliminary investigation is being conducted.
