Growth in Receipt Printing Exceeds Previous Months in 10 Months: Pashinyan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has taken to his Facebook page to announce that, according to the data from the first ten months of this year, 97 million 858 thousand 593 receipts have been printed compared to the same period last year. This represents a growth of 38.3 percent.

“The turnover recorded with these receipts has increased by 273 billion 887 million drams, which constitutes 21.8 percent of the total turnover in trade. I would like to thank all the entrepreneurs who diligently provide receipts. I am also grateful to all the citizens who responsibly request receipts. It is also thanks to these individuals that we are able to increase the salaries of soldiers, firefighters, and teachers, raise pensions, provide our soldiers with high-quality food, and pave hundreds of kilometers of roads.

We are receiving numerous reports that the detrimental practice of not issuing receipts continues in many areas. I want to remind everyone that those who do not provide receipts and those who do not request receipts are participating in a process that effectively steals the financial resources intended to improve the situation of soldiers, teachers, and pensioners,” wrote the Prime Minister.
