Active Discussions in the CP: Pashinyan Not Planning to Dismiss Arayik Harutyunyan

The newspaper "Past" reports that a meeting of the CP Executive Committee and the "My Step" faction of the National Assembly took place the day before, attended by Nikol Pashinyan as well.

New details from this meeting have emerged. According to sources, Pashinyan's main targets were several issues, particularly the ongoing deadlock surrounding the Constitutional Court, a problem that he has yet to resolve.

The Prime Minister mentioned that a serious legal expert group had been invited from London (reportedly at a substantial cost of about 400,000 dollars) to provide a legally appropriate solution to the current situation.

Another topic was connected to the Istanbul Convention, which, according to Pashinyan, "should be presented to the public more seriously and substantively in the near future." The Prime Minister highlighted that if there are differing opinions within the team regarding this issue, those with views that differ from the government's line are welcome to express them; however, no substantial responses were heard. Nevertheless, sources insist that there are individuals within the government fundamentally opposed to ratifying the convention, and it is not excluded that there may be new resignations in the government and a process of mandating resignations in the National Assembly in the near future.

A further important topic was raised concerning the noise around the Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport. Pashinyan criticized members of his party, stating that "you turned an ordinary action into a mess; you cannot carry out any independent work." According to reports, Pashinyan does not plan to dismiss Arayik Harutyunyan from his position.

General dissatisfaction has also surfaced regarding the inaction of deputies concerning legislative initiatives, with complaints about their perceived passivity and absences during parliamentary sessions.

The regional governors have come under criticism, as Pashinyan remarked, "it is unclear what they are occupied with." More details can be found in today's issue of the newspaper.
