Populism is Talking About 10 Million Trees and Not Planning in the Budget: Tandilyan
During the budget discussions in the National Assembly, My Step member Artak Manukyan mentioned populism while speaking about economic growth forecasts, stating that the 2020 budget is not aimed at achieving short-term successes but rather at the future.
“Populism is talking about 10 million trees and not planning in the budget,” responded Mane Tandilyan, a member of the Bright Armenia party.
It is noteworthy that during the preliminary budget discussions, government representatives pointed out that the funding for that program could come from the allocated budget for forest protection, as well as from non-budgetary sources.
