110 Property Deeds Found at the Home of Ejmiadzin's Cadastre Chief Over 15 Years: Poghosyan

The Member of Parliament from the 'My Step' faction, Kristine Poghosyan, announced on her Facebook page that a search at the home of Shiraz Harutyunyan, the long-time head of the Ejmiadzin cadastre, uncovered 110 property deeds.

“I’m not getting involved in the preliminary investigation; I’ll say upfront not to politicize this, I’m sharing information that has reached me to avoid future problems. During the search of Shiraz Harutyunyan's home, who has been the head of cadastre in Ejmiadzin for 15 years, 110 property deeds were found. I don’t know at what stage the criminal case is, but I do know that this individual is already frantically signing retroactive contracts. If he is out on bail, he can sign more contracts; what is he doing, how is he better than Manvel Grigoryan, from whose home nearly 100 property deeds were also found?” the MP noted.

She added, “However, it seems that the investigative bodies are very calm regarding this issue. I’m writing this publicly now so that later, all those involved in this will be held accountable before the law. I had warned.”
