Total Taxes Paid to the State Budget by Major Taxpayers Amounts to Approximately 765 Billion Drama: Pashinyan
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on his Facebook page that the total amount of taxes paid to the state budget by the 1000 largest taxpayers from January to September 2019 reached approximately 765 billion drama, which is an increase of 13.5% compared to the same period last year.
During the first nine months of 2019, there was also an increase in the total amount of taxes paid to the state budget by the top 10, 50, and 100 largest taxpayers compared to the previous two years' same periods.
Specifically, during January to September 2019, the top 10 taxpayers paid about 190 billion drama in taxes to the state budget, which is an increase of 21.5 billion drama or 12.6% compared to last year. The 100 largest taxpayers paid 50 billion drama more compared to 2018.
In the reporting period of 2019, to be included in the list of the 1000 largest taxpayers, one had to pay at least 119 million drama in taxes, compared to just over 98 million drama in 2018, and in 2017, fulfilling tax obligations of only 80 million drama was sufficient.
