A Contract Soldier Stabbed in Sevan City

A stabbing incident has taken place in Sevan City, Gegharkunik. According to certain sources, the victim is a contract soldier from the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

In a conversation with Sputnik Armenia, the press office of the Armenian police confirmed this information. "On November 3, at 21:30, a report was received from Sevan Medical Center that a 1992-born young man had been admitted with stab wounds. A team dispatched to the hospital found that around 21:00, on Komissarneri Street in Sevan, the mentioned young man had been assaulted by another young man during a dispute over personal issues, and the latter had attacked him with a kitchen knife," the police revealed.

The assailant reported himself to the police department at 2 AM on November 4 and provided a confession. According to some information we received, the stabbed individual is a contract soldier of the Ministry of Defense.
