22-Year-Old Driver Loses Control and Falls into Hrazdan River While Avoiding Stray Dogs

Today, on November 4, a serious traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. At around 1:30 PM, a 22-year-old resident of Yerevan, Emil T., lost control of his Toyota Corolla with license plate 07 NA 707 while driving in the Hrazdan gorge, veering off the roadway and ending up in the Hrazdan River.

As a result of the accident, the passenger suffered injuries and was transported to the hospital. Emergency response teams from the Yerevan Traffic Police quickly arrived at the scene.

Witnesses at the scene reported that the cause of the accident was several stray dogs; the driver swerved to avoid hitting them but lost control of the vehicle and plunged into the river. With the help of citizens, the vehicle was extracted from the river using special cables and transported to a safe location.
