VIDEO: Stepantsminda-Lars Highway Closed for Trucks, 250 Vehicles Accumulated

According to the information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for trucks, open passenger vehicles, and buses.

Information from the main department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of North Ossetia indicates that there are 250 vehicles accumulated on the Russian side.

Drivers are advised to use winter tires exclusively.
