During the discussions, Putin, noticing the cameras, gestured to Erdogan to cover the map on the table. "Let them see how much we have worked," Erdogan responded, but ultimately covered the map.

It is worth noting that as a result of the meeting between the Russian and Turkish presidents on October 22 in Sochi, a memorandum was signed, which states in point 5 that starting from October 23 at 12:00, Russian military police and Syrian border units will enter the Syrian side of the Turkish-Syrian border, which is outside Turkey's "Peace Spring" military operation zone.

They will facilitate the withdrawal of Kurdish groups to 30 km away from the Turkish-Syrian border, which must be completed within 150 hours starting from October 23 at 12:00.
