VIDEO: Clashes Continue in Northern Syria

Clashes have taken place in northeastern Syria between Turkey-backed forces, Kurdish self-defense units, and Syrian government troops. According to Ruptly news agency, residents of the city of Tal Tamr in Syria have started to flee their homes. Residents reported that the clashes were very close to their settlements, with strikes hitting a school building.

On October 30, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that a joint Russian-Turkish patrol would begin on November 1. However, he added that Turkey would resume military operations if Kurdish forces do not withdraw 30 km from Turkey's border.
