Major Car Accident: 18-Year-Old Yerevan State University Student's Mercedes Overturned in a Gorge, Injuries Reported

On November 2, a major car accident occurred in the Aragatsotn region. Around 4:00 PM, 18-year-old Diana Gh., a resident of Yerevan, lost control of her Mercedes with license plate 33 OQ 333 in front of the Physics Institute located in the administrative area of Bjurakan community. The vehicle veered off the road and overturned, landing in a gorge.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, Diana Gh., along with her passengers—31-year-old Koryun Gh. from Ararat Province and 26-year-old Levon N. from Yerevan—sustained injuries and were transported to medical facilities: Diana Gh. to 'Ashtarak', Koryun Gh. to 'Armenia', and Levon N. to 'Astghik' medical centers.

On the same day, around 9:00 PM, the Ashtarak police station received a report from 'Erebuni' medical center that they had admitted 29-year-old Gurgen O. from Gyumri, who informed doctors that he had been injured in the mentioned car accident.

According to the photographer's information, driver Diana Gh. is a student at Yerevan State University, while injured passengers Koryun Gh. and Levon N. work as air dispatchers at 'Zvartnots' airport.
