Car Accident on Stepanakert-Askeran Road Results in Fatality
A deadly car accident has occurred in the Republic of Artsakh. According to the Artsakh Police press service, the incident took place on November 2 at around 14:10 on the 2nd kilometer of the Stepanakert-Askeran roadway.
Two vehicles collided: a VAZ-21121 driven by 27-year-old V. K. and a VAZ-21061 driven by 52-year-old G. P. Following the collision, G. P. was diagnosed with clinical death and polytrauma and was transported to the Republic Medical Center, where he passed away at 15:00.
V. K., the driver of the VAZ-21121, and three passengers suffered various injuries and were taken to different medical facilities in Artsakh. Specifically, 27-year-old driver V. K. and two passengers, 26-year-old A. A. and 23-year-old O. M., were moved to the military hospital in Stepanakert, while 31-year-old D. M. was admitted to the Republic Medical Center with a spine injury.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the Artsakh Investigative Committee.
