Home of Medical University Law Department Head Robbed

On November 1 in Yerevan, a significant theft occurred. From 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, an unknown individual or individuals utilized technical means to open the entrance door and entered the home of 52-year-old Melik Soghomonyan, a resident of the Noragunk neighborhood, stealing a considerable amount of valuables.

According to Shamshyan.com, the thief or thieves stole dishware, a “Baikal MP-135” type 12mm caliber hunting rifle, money, and gold jewelry from Soghomonyan’s residence. A criminal case has been opened in connection with the incident.

Sources indicate that the victim, M. Soghomonyan, is the head of the law department at Yerevan State Medical University.
