Double Car Accident on Hasratyan Street in Yerevan: One Fatality

On November 2, at around 06:15, a 47-year-old resident of Aragatsotn Province, Seno G., while driving a VAZ 211440 with license plate 35 MS 431, hit a pedestrian on Hasratyan Street. As reported from the scene by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the driver did not flee the scene, provided assistance to the middle-aged woman who was hit, called for Yerevan's emergency services, and informed the operational management center of the Yerevan traffic police about the incident.

Before the ambulance arrived, another vehicle, which the driver noticed, struck the woman again. She unfortunately died at the scene. The driver responsible for the second incident fled the scene.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The police and the investigative department are working to identify the deceased and are undertaking necessary operational-investigative and combined actions to locate the driver who fled and his vehicle. By order of the investigator, Seno G.'s vehicle has been transferred to a special area maintained by the Yerevan Traffic Police.
