On the Anniversary of the April War, PM Nikol Pashinyan and Bako Sahakyan to Plant 7,000 Trees in Artsakh
According to the newspaper "Hayastan," on April 2, 2020, the anniversary of the April Four-Day War, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan will plant 7,000 poplar trees in the valley of the Agavno River in the Kashatagh region, covering an area of approximately 15 hectares. This number symbolizes the fallen Armenian soldiers in the two Artsakh wars.
The initiative is led by former Artsakh Prime Minister and the president of the "Free Homeland" party, Arayik Harutyunyan. On April 2, the Republic of Artsakh will have a newly elected president, but Bako Sahakyan's term will not have expired by then.
