Recently, the police service of the Novamberyan division, as part of their efforts to combat illegal logging and the unlawful transportation of timber, moved a vehicle loaded with timber from the area known as "Jujevani Qash" to the specially protected area of the division for legality checks.

According to the police press service, the 60-year-old passenger of the vehicle, who was one of the forest guards of the Dovekh forestry in Novamberyan, did not present any relevant documentation and claimed that the timber belonged to him, stating that he obtained it from a reserve under his supervision and was transporting it to the city of Novamberyan.

The circumstances are being clarified, and materials are being prepared.
