Russian Services Prevent Smuggling of Military Equipment to Azerbaijan

Employees of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation detained members of an organized criminal group involved in smuggling in Dagestan, near the Russian-Azerbaijani border, as reported by the Interfax agency.

“At the border with Azerbaijan, employees of the FSB and counterintelligence service detained members of an organized criminal group engaged in smuggling money and other goods. During the operation, the export of military equipment from Russia was prevented,” the source reports.
