Trump Publishes Photo of Dog Injured during al-Baghdadi's Elimination
U.S. President Donald Trump has released a photograph on Twitter of the injured dog that participated in the operation to eliminate the leader of the Islamic State group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Trump also mentioned that the dog performed its duties exceptionally well, stating, "We have declassified the wonderful photo of the dog that did a tremendous job during the elimination of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi." The president added that the dog is recovering and is in good condition.
It is worth reminding that yesterday Trump announced during a special press briefing that Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had been killed following operations conducted by American forces in Idlib. The remains of his body were transferred from the village of Barisha in Syria to a U.S. military base in Iraq.
