Tandilyan Approaches Grigoryan’s Tenure with Skepticism
LHK MP Mane Tandilyan hinted today at the need for resignation for the Minister of Environment Erik Grigoryan. According to the MP, the minister is unable to ensure the proper implementation of programs in his sector.
The debate began when Tandilyan reminded that environmental expenditures, according to the law, should be higher. Grigoryan responded that he agrees they should be higher, but there is a question of interpretation in the law.
“If you are not ready to implement those programs, or if the Minister of Finance is not willing to accept it, excuse me, your ability to continue in this position raises questions for me…” said Tandilyan.
“Are you expecting a response or clarification?” Grigoryan asked.
“It is your right,” Tandilyan replied.
“Okay,” said Grigoryan and fell silent.
