Putin to Send a Large Military Delegation to Ankara

Following the meeting between Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russia's President Vladimir Putin in Sochi, Turkish media reports that a large military delegation from Russia is set to travel to Ankara, according to Ermenihaber.

As part of Turkey's 'Peace Spring' military operation, an agreement signed with Russia requires that within 150 hours, Russian military police and Syrian border forces enter the Syrian sections of the Turkish-Syrian border that were not included in the operation. The goal is to ensure the withdrawal of YPG forces and their weapons at least 30 kilometers from the Turkish border.

Thus, the 150-hour timeframe specified in the agreement expires on October 29, and Turkish security officials have informed the media about the imminent arrival of the Russian delegation.
