As a result of several days of work conducted with what can be described as textbook precision, the information was substantiated, and new circumstances emerged. According to factual data, in September 2005, a woman born in 1937 was killed in one of the houses on 11th Street in Nor Arech, where she was temporarily residing at a relative's house. On the day of the incident, a dispute arose between the woman and a male relative born in 1972. During this time, the man strangled and killed his relative. To conceal the crime, he buried the body in the basement.
A criminal case has been initiated by the investigative department of the Erebuni and Nubarashen administrative districts, during which police and investigative committee officers searched the house on 11th Street in Nor Arech where the crime occurred. Operational information was confirmed; human bones and remnants of clothing were discovered in the basement. The victim's sister had reported her sister's disappearance to the police in 2005, unaware that she had been murdered.
The 47-year-old man has confessed and has been arrested. Expert examinations have been appointed. Operational and investigative activities are ongoing.
