Iravunk: The Absurd Theater Takes on New Stimulus in 'New' Armenia

Iravunk newspaper reports: It is said that the absurd theater in 'new' Armenia is gaining new momentum. The first absurd act was the discussion involving Deputy Prime Minister Aren Mkrtchyan's undisclosed 'corruption investigator' linked to the scandals regarding the 'Viola Water' revelations with regard to the comments made by the head of the Special Investigative Service (SIS) and the 'remarks' of his seven associates, particularly concerning dubious measures taken.

The second absurd act was that Garegin Baghramyan, who was under investigation in this case, returned to the position of head of the SIS, while those mentioned in that same case, Seda Shahinyan and Sergey Aghinyan, are also members of the SIS. This indicates that either Aren Mkrtchyan was lying, or their regime enjoys the company of the corrupt.

The third act is that these same individuals remain in high positions even after these scandals, moreover they are reportedly showing 'partiality' towards other managers. It is interesting whether they are adhering to the previous 'principles' or acting under the light of political 'redeemers', claiming to be 'honest-accountable' like in the case of 'Viola Water'.

Details can be found in today's issue of the newspaper.
