Video: I Should Take Home the Most Money from the Police Force – Arman Sargsyan

From the first day at the police station, there has been an order to adhere to the rules of morality. This was stated today, October 28, in the National Assembly by the Acting Chief of Police of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan.

“In any case, an order has been given from the very first day to follow the rules of morality. The logic is as follows: treat citizens the way you would like to be treated yourself. This primarily pertains to the employees of the passport service and the road police, considering that these are the main agencies providing services and contain the risks of violating rules of morality,” he said.

Speaking about the three-tier educational system operating within the police force, the acting chief expressed hope for ensuring fair admission and that no one should even think that any systematic corrupt schemes can be applied.

“I assure you, though I may repeat what many of my colleagues have said, I have mentioned several times at our meetings that I should take home the most money from the police force, considering that I receive the highest salary. Therefore, if anyone rewards themselves more based on any conditions, it indicates that we are dealing with a corrupt transaction, and we will utilize all possible measures,” he added.
