The Blame for the Explosive Chaos Regarding Artsakh Lies with Nikol: Ashotyan

The comments of the Foreign Minister are ridiculous following the scandalous interview he gave to the BBC. This is stated by the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, on his Facebook page.

He notably mentioned: “The Minister attributes the vigorous reaction from political and social circles to his, to put it mildly, weak and unprepared comments, to the existence of pluralism and democracy in Armenia. The Minister maliciously forgets that such pluralism and freedoms existed long before the change of power under ‘Serzh’s Armenia’. Opponents at that time were not labeled, humiliated, and declared ‘traitors of the nation’.”

“Therefore, sir, do not attribute my right to speak freely and my professional preparedness to your feet. You have as much connection to that as I do to the millions of dollars of pleasures at the expense of Nikol and his team's budget. The rest, the substantive nonsense, is at the level of the cartoon 'Lёlik and Bolik'. But since they are said by the Foreign Minister, I will soon comment separately on the dangers of the ‘status and security’ theses adopted by this government regarding Artsakh.”

Ashotyan concluded: “The blame for the explosive chaos regarding Artsakh lies with Nikol. However, I have also said that the ‘ones who bring down the pants’ are no less monstrous.”
