Prime Minister Attends Opening Ceremony of Xilinx Armenia
The official website of the Prime Minister reports that Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of Xilinx Armenia, a company operating in the high-tech sector, in Yerevan. The company focuses on the development of innovative and engineering solutions for technology, digital television, industry, and other sectors.
The Yerevan branch of Xilinx Armenia currently employs 20 people, with plans to increase the number of positions to 50 by the end of the year, and to 200 within three years. Xilinx Armenia has also begun collaborations with Armenian universities to develop joint research projects.
After the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister toured the company and learned about the working conditions and activities.
Xilinx has approximately 5,000 employees across its branches in various countries and serves clients in over 60 countries worldwide. In 2019, Xilinx reported revenues of $3.06 billion.
