Nairi Hunanyan's request for early release is the pinnacle of cynicism and impudence. As long as there are doubts regarding the Constitutional Court and other courts in Armenia, and the law is not equal for everyone, Hunanyan's request for release should not even be considered. This was stated today by Anahit Bakhsyan, the widow of Yuri Bakhsyan, who fell victim to the October 27 terrorist attack, in response to reporters' questions.

Anahit Bakhsyan emphasized that the October 27 case must definitely be reopened. 'I absolutely do not trust a single word from that scoundrel. At the same time, it does not seem that the authorities have an interest in uncovering the October 27 events. I do not see such an indication at this moment. I wanted to witness a new approach from the authorities, I expected strict evaluations,' said the widow of Yuri Bakhsyan.

It should be noted that Nairi Hunanyan, the leader of the terrorist group responsible for the October 27 attack, who is sentenced to life imprisonment and is serving his sentence in the 'Yerevan Kentron' penitentiary, has submitted a request for early release. A response to his conditional early release request will be given by December 1.
