If This is Not Revealed after the Velvet Revolution, Everything is Meaningless: Sasun Mikaelyan

Journalists at Yerablur spoke with Sasun Mikaelyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction in the National Assembly of Armenia and the president of the Yerkrapah Volunteer Union.

“It’s enough for our commanders to be executed and slaughtered; it happened during the time of Mkhitar, various things have occurred. Especially if this is not revealed after the Velvet Revolution, everything is meaningless,” said Mikaelyan.

When asked why there is talk about the release of Nairi Hunanyan at this time, Mikaelyan responded, “I cannot say that, ask Arman Babajanyan.”

“Nairi Hunanyan has submitted a request for early release; how do you view this issue?” journalists at Yerablur posed this question to Sasun Mikaelyan. “What will Nairi Hunanyan do if he is released? For someone responsible for a high-profile crime of the century to be out among the people, what will he do?” he said.

When asked whether the reopening of the case should be addressed when the judicial system recovers, Mikaelyan replied, “If we wait, the judicial system will not recover. But serious judges should reveal this case.”
