Mkitaryan Will Not Participate in Europa League Match

The midfielder of Armenia's national football team and AS Roma, Henrikh Mkitaryan, will not participate in the team's upcoming match.

On October 24, the official website of the 'Giallorossi' announced the squad list for the third round of the group phase in the 2019-20 Europa League against Borussia Mönchengladbach. The name of the captain of the Armenian national team is absent from the list.

The match is scheduled to take place today. Ahead of the game, head coach Paulo Fonseca expressed hope that Mkitaryan will soon be able to help the team.

Mkitaryan suffered an injury on September 29 during the Serie A match against Lecce. He recently rejoined the main group.
