I Regret That Even the Revolution Failed to Eradicate the Sub-Structural Minor Intrigues: Karen Kocharyan

Political technologist Karen Kocharyan writes on his Facebook page,  ‘“Deputy Chief of Police Hovhannes Kocharyan has been dismissed in accordance with his own request.” I DO NOT BELIEVE IT: No matter how much Mr. Kocharyan insists that he is leaving by his own request. He has never been involved in politics and has no such ambitions; he will never reveal the real reasons for his departure and will make no show about it. He is a high professional and a serious scholar, who will continue to pursue his favorite occupation, law, as he did years ago when he was forced by the previous regime’s bureaucrats to leave the system “by his own request.” Believe me, Mr. Kocharyan will not lose anything. The police and the state will definitely lose something.

I have no doubt that this is another manifestation of bureaucratic jealousy. I regret to say that even the revolution has failed to eradicate the sub-structural minor intrigues, which always favor the semi-literate. For these minor intrigues, professionalism is unattainable, and they will never achieve self-sufficiency for the rest of their lives. It is interesting to consider how many of the dozens of representatives from various sectors of the state apparatus who consult Hovhannes Kocharyan will try to defend him.
