Thief Steals Wallet from Passenger on Route 30 Bus and Gets Caught (Video)

On October 22, around 8 PM, the police department of Arabkir received a report from the operational control center about a theft that had just occurred on Route 30 bus, where a wallet containing money was stolen from a passenger's pocket.

The officers of the Arabkir police department immediately took measures to locate the thief and recover the stolen items. The investigation was supported by the detectives from the 6th division of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan city police, and thanks to their joint efforts, the pickpocket was found on the same day at 8:45 PM.

The detectives apprehended a 31-year-old resident on Amiryan Street on suspicion of committing the theft. He provided a confession. The victim has declined to file a report. Part of the stolen property has been recovered. Further materials are being prepared for the case.
