OSCE Conducts Planned Monitoring Along Artsakh-Azerbaijan Contact Line

In accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh, on October 23, the OSCE mission conducted a planned monitoring of the ceasefire regime along the contact line between Artsakh and Azerbaijan, specifically in the area northeast of the village of Berdashen in the Martuni region of Artsakh.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, the monitoring was carried out from the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army by personal representatives of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office (CiO) field assistants Genadiy Petrika (Moldova) and Mihail Olaru (Moldova). On the opposing side, the monitoring was conducted by OSCE CiO field assistant Ognjen Jovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina) and personal assistant Simon Tiller (United Kingdom).

The monitoring was carried out as scheduled. Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Artsakh accompanied the monitoring mission from the Artsakh side.
