Putin and Erdogan's Meeting Will Be Complex and Lengthy, Peskov
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, has stated that the upcoming meeting between the Presidents of Russia and Turkey, Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will be quite complex and lengthy due to the situation in Syria.
This was reported by gazeta.ru.
"We are witnessing a very harsh exchange of statements between the United States and Turkey. Therefore, Putin will certainly have things to discuss with his Turkish counterpart," Peskov said.
He also noted that representatives from both sides will discuss economic relations.
According to Peskov, the negotiations will start in a "narrow format," and then a bilateral meeting will take place.
