Accident on Ejmiatsin-Shahumyan Highway Leaves Serious Injuries (Video)
On October 22, at 15:04, the "911" service received information that an accident had occurred on the Ejmiatsin-Shahumyan highway, with several injuries reported. Emergency rescue units were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that vehicles involved in the collision included an "Opel," a "Mercedes" (driver: Valodya Kh., born in 1986), and a "KamAZ" truck (driver: Renik S., born in 1954).
Rescue workers managed to extract a passenger from the "Mercedes" vehicle (Hayk E., born in 1964) and bring him closer to an ambulance. The drivers, Valodya Kh. and Renik S., along with the passenger Hayk E., were hospitalized at the Ejmiatsin Medical Center, where doctors assessed Renik S.'s condition as satisfactory, while Hayk E. and Valodya Kh.'s conditions were classified as severe. Valodya Kh. was later transferred to the "Erebuni" Medical Center in Yerevan, where his condition was also evaluated as critical.
