Video: A UNESCO World Heritage Site Building is Burning
Today, a fire broke out at the historic Cavallerizza Reale building located in the center of Turin. According to TASS agency, the fire started in the building's roof at 8 AM and then spread.
It is noteworthy that the Cavallerizza Reale complex was built in the 17th century when Turin served as the administrative capital of the Duchy of Savoy. It is regarded as one of the examples of Baroque architecture and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Six firefighting teams are currently on-site. According to preliminary reports, no one has been injured in the fire. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
