Azerbaijan's President Dismisses Two Deputy Prime Ministers

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree relieving two Deputy Prime Ministers, Ali Hasanov and Hajibaba Abutalibov, from their positions, according to Azerbaijani media citing a statement from the president’s press service.

The decree takes effect immediately upon signing. The reasons for the dismissal of the Deputy Prime Ministers remain unknown. Some sources also report that they had submitted resignation requests.
