A New Speed Camera Will Be Activated

The Road Police informs that, considering the absence of control over adherence to the established maximum traffic speed by photographic technical means creates favorable conditions for a large number of drivers to exceed the maximum traffic speed, contributing to the emergence of accident-prone situations, a photographic speed camera will be installed based on Article 22 of the Law on Police of the Republic of Armenia.

The speed camera will be placed on the section of the interstate road passing through the village of Lernajzor on the M-2 Yerevan-Yeraskh-Goris-Meghri-Iran border route.

The photographic speed camera will be activated starting from October 28, 2019. The Road Police urges drivers to adhere to traffic rules.
