15 Dead Following Dam Collapse in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia (Video)

15 individuals have lost their lives due to the collapse of a dam in the Kuranginsk region of Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia, with the identities of 11 deceased already confirmed. This information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing local emergency officials.

According to Alexander Dyakov, spokesperson for the regional government, "The identities of 11 out of 15 deceased individuals have been clarified. Seven of them are from Krasnoyarsk Krai, while the others are from Kemerovo and other regions."

The head of the government cabinet stated that search and rescue operations are ongoing and are being conducted around the clock.

The dam collapse occurred on the Seiba River at the technological reservoir of the gold mining sector at 02:00 Moscow time.
