We Lost Game Discipline After Conceding the Second Goal, National Team Coach

The head coach of the Armenian national football team, Armen Gyulbudaghyants, links the loss to Finland with the loss of game discipline.

“We created goal-scoring opportunities in the first half, while the opponent had more dangerous chances from set pieces. After conceding the second goal, we lost our game discipline,” the coach stated during the post-match press conference, as reported by Armenpress.

According to Gyulbudaghyants, the absence of certain players had an impact on the outcomes of recent matches. “In the games against Greece and Italy, we will go out and play for victory,” the coach emphasized.

In the Euro 2020 qualifying round, the Armenian team lost to Finland with a score of 3-0. The next match for Gyulbudaghyants' squad will be on November 15, in Yerevan against the Greek national team. Following that, on November 18, in Palermo, they will compete against the Italian team in the final match of the qualifying round.
