Whose Car Did Sanasaryan Use to Hit the Child?
As already reported, the head of the State Control Service, David Sanasaryan, whose powers have now been suspended as part of a criminal case, has been at the center of a scandal since yesterday.
The mother of the child, Alina Karapetyan, stated that Sanasaryan ran over her 9-year-old son with a black "Toyota Camry" vehicle, with state registration numbers 555 01 or 505 01.
In an interview with ArmDaily.am, David Sanasaryan stated that the car does not belong to him: "I am driving my friend's car; it is not my car, nor is it a government vehicle." The spokesperson for the State Control Service, Seda Aghbalyan, noted that the mentioned state registration numbers do not belong to the State Control Service.
The news agency managed to clarify that the car is not a Camry, but rather a Corolla, with the license plate 555 SO 01, which is registered under the name of "Valgard" LLC. Searches on this LLC indicate that it was declared bankrupt in September 2018.
It should be noted that David Sanasaryan did not declare a vehicle as personal property when he assumed office; however, there were rumors in the media that he was gifted a luxury car after inspections.
