No Cancer Cells Detected in Kocharian; He Remains Hospitalized
The Izmirlian Medical Center has received the results of Robert Kocharian's histological (cytology) examination. According to this, no cancer cells have been detected in Kocharian, nor any malignant tendencies.
Armen Charchyan, the executive director of the medical center, informed us about this in our conversation.
"I can say that everything is favorable. Robert Kocharian is in the recovery phase, during the healing process, and the dynamics are improving," said the director of the medical center during our dialogue.
It should be reminded that on October 9, Kocharian underwent surgery at the Izmirlian Medical Center. As on that day, Charchyan declined to specify the nature of the surgery.
In response to our question about whether he might be discharged tomorrow, the doctor replied, "No, he will definitely stay here for the next 2-3 days, as recovery is challenging."
Meanwhile, a court session concerning Robert Kocharian and other former high-ranking officials is scheduled for tomorrow at the Shengavit Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan, which will likely be postponed due to Kocharian's absence.
