I Haven't Been at the Constitutional Court in the Last 4-5 Months, Haven't Met with Tovmasyan, Clarifies Aram Orbelyan

Aram Orbelyan, a member of Robert Kocharyan's legal team, has visited the Constitutional Court numerous times, but according to the order of Hrayr Tovmasyan, his visits have not been registered in the visit log.

This information has been reported by the Telegram channel 'Baghramyan 26', referring to its sources within the Constitutional Court. It was also noted that during the meeting, the issue of closing the criminal case against Robert Kocharyan was discussed.

Auroranews.am has contacted lawyer Aram Orbelyan. In the conversation, he stated that he had confirmed his presence at the Constitutional Court during a Facebook briefing. 'I have not only not been at the Constitutional Court in the last 4-5 months, but I also have not practically met with Hrayr Tovmasyan,' said Orbelyan.

He requested clarification from the staff of the Constitutional Court about whether his visits were registered or not. Orbelyan cannot precisely state how many times he has visited, but the claim by the Telegram channel about dozens of visits does not correspond to reality.

In response to Auroranews.am’s question about what was discussed during those meetings, Aram Orbelyan revealed that no cases involving Robert Kocharyan or any matters before the Constitutional Court were discussed. 'The discussions were exclusively of a personal nature,' Orbelyan stated.
