Putin Announces He Does Not Follow Trump's Twitter Page

Russian President Vladimir Putin has admitted that he does not read the Twitter posts of his American counterpart, Donald Trump, but considers that Trump's opinion is important for the world at large. The country's leader shared these thoughts on Sunday during an interview with RT, Al Arabiya, and Sky News Arabia, in response to a relevant question, as reported by TASS.

“I do not have a Twitter account myself. And I do not follow it,” said the Russian leader when asked if he reads Trump's posts on that social network. “However, from time to time my staff informs me,” he added.

Moreover, Putin emphasized that “the opinion of the U.S. president is always important,” he stated.
