Accident Occurs on Komitas Avenue, Injured Hospitalized

On October 11, at 1:06 PM, the emergency hotline '911' received a call reporting an accident on Komitas Avenue in Yerevan, near the 'Yerevan City' supermarket. Multiple vehicles were involved, and assistance was required.

Two emergency response teams from the Yerevan Fire and Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. It was determined that vehicles of the 'Suzuki' model (driver: Artak H., born in 1984) and the 'Mercedes' model (driver: Hambardzum S., born in 1988) had collided near house number 46 on Komitas Avenue.

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver and a passenger of the 'Suzuki' vehicle, Anahit Z. (born in 1949), as well as the passengers of the 'Mercedes' vehicle, Alvida S. (born in 1966) and Seda H. (born in 1948), were able to exit their respective vehicles on their own.

The rescuers provided first aid on site and then transported the injured from the 'Suzuki' vehicle to 'Surp Grigor Lusavorich' Medical Center, while those injured from the 'Mercedes' vehicle were taken to 'Izmirlian' Medical Center. After receiving appropriate medical care, all injured individuals were subsequently discharged.

The rescuers also disconnected the vehicle batteries and turned off the gas valves of the vehicles involved.
