A Police Officer Stole a Tractor Engine and Other Parts
The police continue the process of cleansing their ranks and identifying officers who tarnish the image of the force. On October 11, information was received at the Mashtots Police Department regarding the theft of a tractor engine and other parts from the hydraulic structures of the water supply system in Verin Davitashen, which is under the protection of the Armenian Police's Main Department of Patrol and Public Security.
As a result of the investigative activities, it was confirmed that the theft was committed by one of the officers from the Patrol and Public Security Department, who was officially tasked with safeguarding the property and area entrusted to him. On the same day, he confessed to the act within the police ranks. The circumstances of the case are being investigated, and materials are being prepared.
