Afghanistan Discovers Car Packed with One Ton of Explosives

Afghan authorities have prevented a major terrorist attack in the city of Saripul. A car laden with explosives, containing approximately one ton of explosive materials, has been discovered, stated Nasrat Rahimi, head of the Afghan Ministry of Interior's press center.

According to Rahimi, the explosives were placed in a UAZ brand vehicle by terrorists affiliated with the Taliban, an extremist organization banned in Russia.
