Fact. Indeed, the Discontent in the FFA is Justified: Arthur Vanoian Has Been Misled

«Fact» newspaper writes: Discontent with the leadership of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) is growing more pronounced, not specifically towards FFA President Arthur Vanoian, but rather towards FFA First Vice President and General Secretary Armen Melikbekyan, who is conducting the day-to-day management.

Recently, there were public expressions of dissatisfaction particularly from the owner and president of FC Pyunik, Arthur Soghomonyan, the owner of FC Urartu, Jevan Cheloyants, and the Red Eagles fan club.

However, the discontent is not limited to public expressions. Interestingly, many have noted that when they encountered unresolved issues and approached Arthur Vanoian for help, he was simply surprised that such situations could arise. This in itself indicates that Melikbekyan has regularly provided misleading information to Vanoian, presenting the issues in a manner convenient for him.

According to «Fact» newspaper sources, after resigning from the position of Director of the National Security Service, Vanoian began to engage more intensively in the federation's current affairs and personally realized that the discontent was indeed justified; he had been misled and the problems were accumulating.

This has, according to our sources, incited his anger and dissatisfaction. Additionally, the newspaper received information yesterday that the FFA executive committee is discussing the possibility of the president's resignation internally, but there is significant complication as the majority of the football world and the national team are completely against such a move.
