Zohrab Mnatsakanyan Presented Armenia's Foreign Policy Priorities to Frank Pallone

The Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, met with U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone, co-chair of the Armenian Issues Congressional Caucus, on October 4. This was reported by the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Expressing gratitude for the efforts undertaken within the framework of the Armenian Issues Caucus to strengthen Armenian-American relations, Minister Mnatsakanyan noted with satisfaction that the expansion and deepening of partnership and political agenda with the United States has been and remains one of Armenia's foreign policy priorities.

Minister Mnatsakanyan presented to Congressman Pallone the broad agenda of reforms being implemented by the Armenian government aimed at strengthening democratic institutions, the rule of law, establishing an independent judiciary, and increasing public confidence in it.

The interlocutors exchanged views on several urgent issues on the international and regional agenda. At the request of the U.S. Congressman, the Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs addressed Armenia's foreign policy priorities.

Minister Mnatsakanyan informed Congressman Pallone about the latest developments in the peaceful resolution process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia's approaches and principled stance, emphasizing the importance of creating an environment conducive to peace, including the exclusion of threats of force and belligerent rhetoric.
