According to SHAMSHYAN.com, on October 4, a resident of one of the villages in the Armavir region, 46-year-old Gagik Mkrtchyan, was arrested by the decision of an investigator from the Armavir Regional Investigation Department of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
Photographer Gagik Shamshyan reports that Mkrtchyan was discovered as a result of extensive operational and investigative work carried out by the criminal investigation and community police departments of the Armavir regional police and later by the investigation department of the Baghramyan police station. He is suspected of committing immoral acts in the Armavir region on September 25 of this year.
Under pressure from the evidence, he confessed to having committed immoral acts against 11th-grade female students at a school in one of the villages of the Armavir region. Law enforcement officers from the Armavir region and the Baghramyan police station quickly identified the suspect, and he was apprehended while driving his personal ГАЗ 3110 vehicle with license plate 36 DТ 941 from Nalbandyan village. He was taken to the Baghramyan police station and was later transferred to the Armavir Regional Investigation Department, where he was arrested based on the investigator's decision.
According to G. Shamshyan's information, G. Mkrtchyan has a prior conviction, and his brother serves as the head of the Nalbandyan village in the Armavir region.
