Criminal Case Initiated Over Soldier's Murder

On October 3, 2019, at around 18:20, contract soldier Musheg Zhiryairi Abovyan sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the face due to fire opened by the adversary towards the combat position of the N military unit of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia.

A criminal case has been initiated at the sixth military investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee under Article 104, Part 2, Clause 13 of the RA Criminal Code, and an investigation is underway.
